Tia has always had a deep passion for fashion and beauty — a love rooted in her upbringing. Growing up in the vibrant Bahamas, she spent much of her time surrounded by the world of style, watching her mother run one of the most renowned clothing boutiques in the country. The boutique wasn't just a hub for the latest fashion; it was a lifestyle space, always stocked with beauty and makeup products that perfectly complemented the clothing.
Naturally, Tia was drawn to the business. She began her entrepreneurial journey by selling “Sasha Cosmetics” lipsticks directly from her mother’s store. The experience sparked a bigger vision. Confident in her creativity and inspired by her environment, Tia made a bold decision — to launch her very own line of lipsticks.
And as you can see, she did just that — and so much more.
Tia is no stranger to the glitz and grace of pageantry — it’s in her blood. She began her journey at the tender age of four, competing in Little Miss Radiant Bahamas, and just two years later, she made history by being crowned the first-ever Little Miss Bahamas in 2004. Her love for pageantry, modeling, and beauty only grew stronger with time.
A decade later, Tia returned to the stage — this time as a teenager — where she competed in the Miss Teen Bahamas International pageant and once again walked away with the crown. But for Tia, pageantry is more than just gowns and titles — it’s a calling, a ministry, and a platform for empowerment.
In 2016, she and her mother officially took over the Miss Teen International Bahamas franchise, marking the beginning of a new chapter. From there, Tia’s vision expanded. She founded the Bahamas International Pageants Organization, a nonprofit that now oversees three prestigious international pageant franchises. Through this organization, Tia continues to mentor, inspire, and create opportunities for young Bahamian women to shine — on stage and beyond.
It’s no secret that motherhood transforms you — it pushes you to rise, evolve, and become an even greater version of yourself. Tia embodies the strength, grace, and hustle of modern motherhood. She is part of a powerful tribe of women who refuse to choose between being an incredible mom and pursuing their passions.
For Tia, motherhood comes first — always. But that’s just the beginning of her story. She's also a dedicated banker, a thriving business owner, a beauty and fashion entrepreneur, and a content creator who inspires others through her journey. Whether she's in the boardroom, running a brand, or creating content online, Tia does it all with intention and heart.
